This Week in Math

1st Period

Monday 9/25/17- Sub Plans. Students are to complete the worksheet on adding and subtracting decimals. 

Tuesday 9/26/17-  Teacher will review worksheet with students and begin student project on adding and subtracting decimals. Students are to pretend that their guardians are leaving them for a week with a $75 budget for groceries. Students have to buy food for their dinner including three main items, drinks, and a dessert/snacks. Students cannot go over budget and must plan out their meal plans for the entire week. 

Wednesday 9/27/17- Teacher will review rules and expectations for project. Students will have the entire class period to work on it. 

Thursday 9/28/17- Teacher will give the class 20 minutes to put any finishing touches on their projects. Then we will begin presenting the projects to the class. Those who do not get to present will present Friday. 

Friday 9/29/17- Students will finish presentations. Teacher will begin teaching students how to multiply decimals using their Holt Textbook. Students will write down examples for their notes and begin working on the practice problems.
